I was very pleasantly surprised after your presentation. I was excited about the comedy but I wasn’t expecting such an inspirational story attached with it as well. You did a marvelous job making us laugh as well as think about something that is very serious in this day in age. Wisconsin is ranked No. 1 in binge drinking so I think it is great that you were able to come to our small school and share your story and message.

Thanks for coming to our campus and sharing your story. It will leave an impact on myself and others who listened with their hearts as well as their brains. It is hard to look past the moment of right now in young 20s and see what could be lost in drinking and/or drugs/partying. And that you talked about still having a good time without getting plastered and remembering the fun times versus blacking out, really was a great wake up call. Thanks for taking time to come to our small town and our small campus, with your big heart!

I really enjoyed the hour with Bernie. I had no idea it was going to be a comedy /inspirational address, but I was happily surprised. I think it was a very heart retching story, but I was glad to experience it. Bernie’s accomplishment and his address to the students was great and I am glad I attended. Thank you for coming to Lacrosse and making us think as we laughed.

wow man, i saw you a Western today, you were fantastic.
I myself have dealt with suicidal thoughts and problems and i know how hard they can be, and though ive never drank or smokedi have had friends with those problems and i really do appreciate you bringing it to people attention

and I’m an oldest child too, i know what thats like
