   That was a GREAT show. I’m really glad you came all the way up here to see us, Beavers in Minot North Dakota! I just want to tell you that I was able to relate to a lot of what you said tonight. Thank you for a fun entertianing speech and not a lecture… because I have been to several of those alcohol classes with the guy in the plaid shirt showing car crashes, and your absolutely right it made me want to drink even more it was so boaring. I have actually spent over 30 hours in those classes. So thank you for a fun, and funny show! I would love to read your book too, so even if you don’t pick me for the free book drawing i think i’ll still go out and buy one!

   Man, This was without a doubt a fun and refreshing experience to be able to see a “real” comedian, do hie thing and actually talk with a purpose. Very awesome show!! Will be watching more of them to come. God bless!

   Thanks for coming to speak to us tonight. It is nice to see someone who mixes comedy with sensitivity to get a very important message across. My dad was an alcoholic from the age of about 16/17 and eventually died of liver cancer 1 1/2 years ago at the age of 55. By the time he found out he had liver cancer he had been sober for 3-4 years but it was too late for him. Although myself and my brother and sister are well aware of the effects of alcohol because of this, many young people still aren’t. I think the way you convey this message to students will help them to gain more awareness of this serious and sometimes fatal issue. It certainly struck home with me.

But yeah… I’ve never tried drugs in my life, and don’t plan on it… and when I was 17 and 18 I got drunk almost every weekend… but don’t even like the feeling of being drunk anymore. Sometimes I’ll have a beer or two, but usually don’t go overbord.

    Hey Bernie, great show! You should come up to Canada and do this, I know of a few guys who need to hear something like this. This hits super close to home because I see so many of my friends putting themselves in the same kind of situations and paying the consequences for it but they never seem to learn from it. You had everyone laughing their asses off for the first half and then you still manage to send home a serious message. Incredible. Thanks so much for caring and taking the time to share your story with students!
