Roger Williams University!!
So I finish my show last night in Quincy Illinois at 11pm. Go to the hotel and crash at 12 midnight. Awake at 3am today to drive 140 miles to the St. Louis Airport, where I jump my first of two planes at 6:30am to get to Providence RI and meet the Class of 2013 for the show tonight! And people think Show Biz is glamorous! LOL The SHOW is the easy part, the travel to get there and then make the show look easy is the Magic. The Hawks were great tonight and Clayton, Donna, and the awesome team of Health & Wellness Educators were so cool, serving up some delicious Root Beer Floats! RWU is an incredible school, with some of the best Orientation leaders and students in the country! Thanks Dean McMahon as well!

Happy Hour was great. I thought you were really funny! Definitely the best required event we have had to attend… in a good way. Really good stories and really funny jokes.
Hey Bernie i really enjoyed your show. I like how it was a whole comedy act but it really had a message behind it. I’ve never have been a heavy drinker in fact have only drank once in my whole life and have never smoked pot. my gf does drink and wants to smoke pot but i told her im really against it and she decided not to. I really wish she wouldn’t drink though. Thanks alot for the advice tho i really took away alot from your performance.

it is nice to see someone trying to stop dangerous drinking habits without treating us as children or talking down to us. A few weeks ago the Ambulance I work on was sent to a house where a young man had stopped breathing due to complications caused by his abuse of Alcohol. The crew tried to save his life but there was too much damaged caused by his drinking and he died later at the hospital. Too many people end up like this too soon. It is good to see at least one sober celebrity trying to encourage young adults to stay safe.

Nice show, Bernie. While I couldn’t relate personally to many of your stories, it was refreshing to hear someone tell us about their experiences without lecturing us until we fall asleep. You kept it interesting, even during the more difficult material. Thanks, and good luck!

I really appreciate what you are doing for these kids. Hopefully we can get involved in some acts together. I’m not that big of a comedian, but I have some ideas for these kids that you might want to look into. I’ve had some real life experiences which have just been ideal for helping kids out with coping with the change that they are about to undergo. I know that if I was a student some of the things that I have learned through trial in error, which i believe is the best way to learn could be useful to the students that you will meet and influence in the future.
