Hey Bernie,
First I would like to say I truly enjoyed your show. I have worked as a Residence Director at QU for five years and every year I hope they bring someone here who can “KEEP IT REAL” with a message everyone can understand. I work mainly with Freshman who still believe they are invisible. I believe your story can teach them so much. My hope is your story touch someone to just think twice before they take that “last” drink. You “kept it real” and I believe you touched many lives tonight.
I appreciate your story and must say I admire your courage to tell the story with humor and passion. You have a great balance of the two. I pray for your family and my condolences to you. Thank you for sharing your story. Although I did not experience anything similar, I did too lose my brother to the mean streets of St. Louis and I changed my life as well. I came back to school and promised him I would make him proud. I will graduate with my Maters’ Degree in Community Counseling.

Oh my goodness!! that is seriously by far one of the greatest performances ever! thank you so much! i am not really a partier, but i know that if i was then i definately would have an “aha” moment. you have the perfect mix of comedy and reality. you know how to keep a group of college students interested in important topics. thank you again! i had a blast!

That was a great show! I came into it thinking that I would be bored out of my mind because I have been to A TON of presentations where they try to be funny, and say “Drugs and alcohol are baaaaaad, mkay?”… and most of them never really work for me. But I really liked your presentation, and the message you were able to get across while keeping us all entertained. Great job! Keep up the good work!
