OMG! Pioneers, you were very cool to me even if you were not sure at first! I had a blast tonight, and thank you for giving me a small chance. I had a good time, and I hope many of did as well! I am getting ready to hit some tea to sooth my vocal chords! lol Karen, Janice and the entire staff- thank you! Class of 2012- enjoy these years, have fun, but also keep the focus! Hey Thanks for coming to SHU! You were wicked funny! I didn’t really know what to expect when I was coming to your show, but you were really good, and your message was great too! I Know two people who were killed because of drunk driving related accidents, and take drunk driving / drinking seriously….and even though i occasional do party, I am responsible and I really hope your message touched some people at this school because you made my night and helped me focus on the important things!

You touched me in a way that I was able to talk about you for the rest of the night. I attended your 7:00pm show and you were funny as hell! I got such a work out just from laughing and it brightened up my night. Usually I am the one making others around me laugh (that’s what I love to do), and when other people besides myself make me laugh it is shocking. Your jokes were absolutely priceless.
For the remainder of your show, you were hysterical yet inspirational at the same time. The events that you spoke about are relatable in a sense and that is, what I believe, helped me understand the negative aspects of alcohol. Some people (especially in college) don’t understand what can happen in the long run if you experiment with excessive amounts of alcohol at such a young age. I hope that college students take what you said to heart like I did and understand how bad drinking actually is.
You are a very inspirational man with a rough yet exciting past. Thankfully you passed your information and stories on to me which I will remember and pass on to my friends and family. For example, I came back to my dorm (in Merton haha) and told my friend, “Dude, Bernie was awesome! I’m not drinking ever again!” Haha. Of course she laughed at me, but you touched me… You really did. Thank you.
Your show was amazing! I haven’t laughed that hard in so long. I like the different approach that you have to teach college students about drinking! I enjoyed the show and would definitly see it again!

I’ve never had a stranger have such a huge impact on my life. Your show was absolutely amazing. You had me laughing and crying. At first i was a little confused on your message. But your story really moved me. Your show made me realize that i was choosing partying over schoolwork and family. After your show, i called up my sisters and they were wondering who this “bernie” was who had such a big impact on me.
I have told a good 20 people so far about your show and everyone is dying to see it. keep doing what your doing because believe me you are really changing some students perceptions on drinking and college. Your the shit! Come back to SHU anytimeee!!!

You put on an amaaaazing show last night! You were absolutely hysterical; my friends and I were dying of laughter the whole time. Your priceless jokes about our campus were enough to make me want to fall out of the chair. Thank you so much for coming to Sacred Heart! I haven’t laughed that hard in I don’t even remember how long! Not only were the jokes amazing, but the message behind the show was incredibly touching. I have never really been the one who was really into the party scene, although I have before. I have friends who spend multiple times a week drinking and wasting their lives away and I feel that your inspirational message has motivated me more to do something about it.

Bernie you were really funny and your message was powerful. I was hesistant at first I really did not want to go to yor show, but I’m glad I went.
This was a great show i have to admit. A lot of us just went becaus eit was a requirement but it worth while… My father use to have a major drinking problem and i tld him to seek help because if he kept on he would die. Those words inspired him and he went to a rehab facility and has been clean since 2003. Drinking can make you do some crazy things. I am glad you weren’t one of them old guys that talks about drunk driving through slide shows… I had one of those in high school and it was horrible… but thanks for comeing to our campus, te comedy and the message were both great
