Having four friends die in a car accident 2 months before graduation my senior year, these alcohol programs always touch me. You told a personal story, while also bringing comedy and it was the best one i’ve been to since being at NCSU. Thanks!

I came to the alcohol meeting today assuming it would be a boring waste of my time but once you started your comedy and message i was convinced that nothing i could have been doing (i.e. playing guitar hero or homework) could top your performance! Thanks for the many laughs and please come back!

Thanks so much for making tonight not so dreadful!! You are hilarious and the part about Lindsay Lohan hang gliding from a Dorito was beyond funny!!! I loved the show and you have definitely come up with an entertaining and effective way to reach students about such an important subject that like you said is all too often presented with the boring/scary old guy showing car crash pictures and telling us if we drink we will die. What’s up man! Thanks for coming out and talking to us. I just thought of you two seconds ago as I was going to the bathroom. Remember, when you explained how most girls when using public bathrooms pile toilet paper on top the seats…well I thought of you piling so much on top that your feet couldn’t touch the ground, so I decided to experiment. Well, didn’t work out so well for me, each piece kept falling and we all know that it’s just gross to pick up the paper once it falls to the ground so now the campus janitors are going to pissed with all the toilet paper I left them!
I also wanted to say how much your piece about your brother meant to many of us on the team! Thanks!!!

That was a great show. You’re by far the best public speaker NC State Athletics has had during my time at the University. You were entertaining and knew how to keep the crowd involved, but you also knew how to be serious and get a point across; which is definitely admirable. Working for Stewart Theatre I see a lot of people coming in trying to connect with the students and to be honest, very few succeed. Especially with the atheletes, as they can be a tough sell. You spoke from the heart, and you truly killed. As college students, we underestimate the danger of doing things in the name of fun and we forget that the 3am drive down Gorman Street could turn into the last one. I think your passive aggressive approach will make everyone there, myself included, look a little harder in the mirror the next time we go out. And maybe some will have been given the courage to make a change if it’s needed.
They say humor heals, and I think you have lived that dream to the fullest. Twenty years sober is an amazing feat, here’s to the next twenty. Thank you for using your gift to make a difference in the world, there will never be enough people like you!
