The Adlephi incoming Freshmen rocked the last two weeks!  I loved you guys and loved the orientation staff for being such great leaders! Every year is great at Adelphi, but this year was very special!  I love my hometown of NY!  I hope the laughs were plenty and the message clear!  Enjoy your life and stay focused!

    hey bernie!

    I’m one of the adelphi students at the orientation that watched your show last night! It was truly hilarious and inspirational. I hope you continue to convey your message through comedy. Thanks for a great show and I hope I win the book. Reading is one of my favorite past times after all.

    i absolutely loved your show! it’s an awesome way to get this message across to college students today. i have an uncle with a learning disability, so i could relate to your stories about you and your brother, sean. People like your borther and my uncle can do some pretty amazing things, especially with someone like you in their life. : )

    How’s it going Bernie?

    I know you won’t remember me because I didn’t have the guts to actually introduce myself in person, but I just wanted to say that I really and truly enjoyed your show. Not only was it hilarious and full of laughter but it was also very touching and moving, especially the sad story of your brother.

    It’s funny how the week before, a few of my family members and I were also going to go to a comedy show. I was really looking forward to it because I’ve never been to a comedy show before. I mean, sure I’ve seen them on TV, but it’s not the same as the real life experience. Sadly, we weren’t able to attend due to some unfortunate circumstances. So when I heard a comedian was coming for our orientation, I was extremely excited. You really lived up to my expectations and more.

    I hope you keep on bringing joy and merriment into people’s lives, as well as continue to inspire them. Also continue on conveying your very important message. You have the talent and determination to change people’s lives. You sure changed mine that night.

    Hey Bernie I’m Matt. May I just say I so enjoyed your preformance on Mondayt night I wouldn’t mind seeing it again. I’m not saying this to kiss your ass I just say it becuase I did see innovativeness in your preformence. I say that because you give the public service announcements that students our age want to hear instead of just the usual “don’t do drugs/alchohol”. You’re a survivor binging of and personal experience makes your act and stories belivable, that’s why your very successful. You get your message across & make people laugh; more what Jack Black could ever deliver. While I may not know anyone with an alchohol problem I can still understand the trials & tribulations someone can go through. Keep up the good preformance, students will listen to you because of your outstanding tone and true stories. I had a good orientation; except there was no bathroom in my dorm & my closet had used as one. One night someone threw a shirt in there and well… I was pissed off. Just a joke there; I’m somewhat of a comedian myself & you gave me extra inspiration & no I did not drink or use drugs, I’ve learned from the best. Thanks for coming to Adelphi & come back soon.

    Sincerly,
    Matt “The Woj” Wojis

    I think of all the things that went on during the first day of orientation~ this was the funniest! But the bad side to that is that I cried (out of laughing too much) and my cheeks hurt a lot. @_@;;

    But yeah~ you should definitely come back for the next orientation~ I think it’ll be fun for everyone next year too ^^~

    Thanks a lot for helping to make the orientation experience better for us~!!!

    Oh yeah~ and you definitly presented your message in a more creative fashion than I guess administration would have~ so thanks for that too ^^
