I have disembarked in the beautiful country of Germany, where I now have the privilege of serving the men, women and families of our Nation’s finest and bravest of heroes! With these men and women about to be deployed again, some for a second and third term, I embrace this honor to bring laughter and appreciation to these men and women whom I love so much! My Father was stationed here 48 years ago, and this tour for a son back to where he served is a personal privilege and honor!
THANK YOU TROOPS…for the freedom we all have as a result of your selfless protection, risk, and sacrifice! Bravo Company 172- shout out! I had the honor of entertaining a brigade of soldiers known as the ‘wounded warriors’, men and women who have suffered serious injuries and still stay for treatment and to be ready to serve again, if called upon. Shaking the hand of this wounded warrior is what it is all about, a chance to say ‘Thank You’ and ‘We love you’…

COLONEL HAAGAR- thanks for coming today!!!

I would like to thank you for the motivational comedy that you gave to us today, it meant alot to me hearing what you had to bring to us today. I had alot of fun and laughs while in the thearter today and I plan on passing on your words of wisdom to others that come to our beloved unit. Thnaks again for today and God Bless your Bernie.
I just want to say thank you for coming to Schweinfurt and making us laugh. Some of us, no scratch that, alot of us over here needed that laugh. It definately gets our minds off of the deployment coming up.
Thats cool that you got to come back here and see the same place where your dad served. That makes a great personal experience.
Hope to see your show again in the future, keep entertaining and hope you continue “to kill”.
Hi Bernie,
I was at your great “makes you think alittle” comedy show in the Ledward Theater today @ 14:00. It was awsome, it made me laugh and think about what u said. Very inspiring. I wanted to ask you,…you know alot of comediens and writers, do you know or have met Kevin James from “King of Queens”, one of my fav shows. I heard that he wrote for Jay Leno?? Again, hats off to your show and the “Point” that comes across, at least it did for me. First in the beginning of your show I didnt even think that it would end up like this, where you perfectly fit you life story and personal situations and totally surprised me…:-)…First, …like damn this guy is funny to Second…WTF? is he serious now?? Dude, should I laugh or look serious now?? Great though! Just like the two clown faces of Comedy!…
…:-(
Take Care Bernie and God Bless!
Jens
LN civilian, which means Local National…:-)
Hey Bernie, great time today as well as a great message, there’s alot to teach or pass on to alot of the young soldiers, keep on “killing” brother and i’ll see you “BACK IN PHILLY”.
Take care and keep on supporting the troops.
Bernie,
Thank you for the laughs and tremendous inspirational message you share with the people you come into contact with. I cannot imagine how much it must cost you to share what you do with total strangers and I commend you on doing so in an effort to educate and motivate others to make positive choices. I know that you are having a positive effect in the Schweinfurt community because after today’s shows, no less than six attendees stopped me to comment on how much they enjoyed the show, the message, and expressed a desire to have you come back to this community.
Thanks for what you do,
Ron
I really enjoyed your show today. It made me laugh and think all at the same time. Is there a page to see any upcoming shows? I’d like to see it again. Thanks for coming out.
Thanks Bernie, thanks for the laughs – you made my day. You encourage people to think and to look at both sides of a coin.
Silvia
hey bernie
You gave an awsome speech on drinking and all of that. I think i will sit down tonight and reevalute my decisions. Good job
Bernie,
OK, good job. We really enjoyed your show. (As you can tell by the many responses.) What you do has to be hard, and trust me, we appreciate it. This was the best mandatory class I ever attended.
Take care, man.
Sincerely,
A voice in the crowd
