You’re freakin hilarious, I don’t have to do sit ups for a month now. COME BACK SOON!
Hey Bern Man, whats up, just got done watching your show and now im here on lunch. I would just like to say that the show was great. Thinking its going to be another normal safety breifing and then BAM, here is Bernie. Very funny and keep up the good work. Hope to see your show again somewhere some time. Your awesome
I loved your show…..something we really needed to hear. Just thought that it would be another boring power point, but no they really went ABOVE ALL with you. So thanks for the laughs and the realness. Alot of people wouldn’t be so open to tell about their personal experiences. BIG THANKS!!!! Come back any time!
Thank you…you were awesome!! I’ve be in the military now for 27 years (20 active duty and 7 now as a civilian) and your show was one of the best and most inspiring I’ve ever seen. I’ve been all over the world and seen a lot of people (to include Bob Hope) come to our bases to help out our sometime never ending nightmare of a day. Thank you for all the time you have spent putting smiles on our Airmen and Soldiers. I pray your words reached a lot of airmen today and sets them back on the right path. Again, thank you and you are right up there with the best. God Speed.
Wow, you were very funny. Thanks for coming and sharing your message/talent. Good luck and keep up the great work.
I agree with the comments above…family is important and thanks for sharing your story! also I to was thinking another boring blah blah blah safty breifing and it wasn’t at all! I laughed my a$$ off. Thanks for coming and visting us hope to hear you again.
Wow! Not what I had expected at all. Your show was hilarious, and very inspiring. You have a great gift to share with others. Thank you for coming down to Lackland and God Bless you.
What a wonderful show you provided to team Lackland today. I especially loved the stories of you and your brother. I can surely relate since I have an older “special” brother that brings joy to my life everyday. He turned 46 years old today and what a blessing he has been to all of my family. You are an inspiration to all, young/old, civilian/military, what a blessing your life is. Keep up the great work and may God continue you to bless you and your family. Thanks for the laughs.
Just wanted to let you know that your show was amazing, I don’t think I stopped laughing the entire time. Keep doing what you do, we really appreciate it. It was so much better than our traditional ‘death by powerpoint’ briefings, I hope to be able to see the show again one day, and I’m sure everyone on base is looking forward to your return.
Bernie, Awesome show!
16 years in the military and that was the best 101 Days of Summer ever. I ecspecially feel your pain about your brother; my mother too did the same thing due to alcohol!
Thank you for being here for the Military, it means alot!
God Bless You!
Thank you so much for coming today and speaking to us. I can really relate to you alot. I have been to Bosnia (early ’99) and I also have two brothers (coinsidently, named Shawn and Scott). You had to deal with two issues with just one brother; where as I have to deal with those same two issues, but with both brothers. One smokes pot and the other drinks. I have pleaded with my younger brother (Shawn) to stop smoking, but he says it helps with his tourettes. I have just recently found out that my youngest brother (Scott) is now drinking “1-2″ beers almost every night. It is difficult to call them as much as I would like to due to our work schedules and the time difference (they are both on the East Coast), but I will try. Again, thank you for coming. I really enjoyed it!!!!!
Bernie,
You are awesome!! Not only were you hilarious, but you hit home with your personal stories. I loved the stories about your brother, Sean!! It was so good to get some comendy during our Safety day. Keep you the great work. Take Care.
Very Nice Job! I liked what you had to say. I will make sure my kids hear your story.
Thanks again for supporting the military!
I absolutly loved the show!! I almost fell out of my seat when you were talking about the toilet paper!
I think its about time we got out of the stuffy briefings and people actually pay attention!! Thanks
Bernie,
I’d have to admit that was the best safety brief I have received in my 18 year career. You are truely an inspiration and I applaud your message to the younger generation or actually whom ever is in the same situation. Tying your family and your true real-life testimony hit home and I believe everyone can relate to your tough road you have walked. Did you mention that you committed and now have a relationship with God? I feel that is the MOST important message of all. I’m preparing to deploy for my 5th time and you gave me instant motivation and inspiration. Thanks for what you do…I’ll see you in Afganistan this season… lol
Bro, that’s hilarious. Thank you so much for doing what you do, and keeping it entirely real. I relate to so much of what you said. You Killed!!! Thanks again (Gimme your book)
Dude your act is the shyt thanks for been here for the troops!!! Come back soon!
GOOD job at lackland airforce base…
keep the laughes coming!!! >.
Bernie, great show. I have worked w/ the comics on duty tour twice, and many others that come out to see our military members who are in harms way, away from home. Thanks for coming out and sharing your life w/ us, one person touched is one person saved. God Bless, keep up the good work. ps. next time you are running away from the blackhawk, keep your head down you will look less like a comedian…..
)
You did a great job at Lackland Air Force Base. Keep the laughs coming….
OMG, you were awesome today. I thoroughly enjoyed your show today at Lackland. I was crying through the whole show. Love ya!!
Bernie,
Thanks for coming to Lackland for our Safety/Wingmen Day; you kept me laughing, bro. You’re always welcome back in my book. I worked with a young lady at Eglin AFB, FL, that had a few too many drinks and decided to swim from one boat to another. She didn’t make it; the undertow pulled her under. When I was stationed in Germany there was a guy in the dorms that was playing drinking games with other Airmen and he died of vomit affixation. Keep doing the shows you do; You Killed.
Hey Bernie,
Thank you for a truly awesome show, message and safety brief. Your message is truly a God send. May he bless you, and keep up the laughter!
Bernie,
What an awesome job! Over 24 years and many deployments, your show is certainly one of the best if not THE BEST I have ever had the privilege to see. Keep up the good work. I really appreciate all that you have done for us! God Bless You!
Bro, What a powerful message. Having spent over 17 years in the military, mostly Army, I have seen alot of “saftey” briefings. But, yours was the best! You really made it stick. We have all seen those motivational speakers, and I have seen my fare share of them, that try to sway you. But You went the extra mile. Thank you so much fro giving your time to not only lackland, but also the US Military. Its people like you that make this job so much better. Keep it up and I hope to see you agian sometime.
What an awesome performance! I was cracking up the entire time… You killed Me!
Mr. McGrenahan
The show great. This show was something we all needed to see and was a great change of pace from what were used to seeing and hearing. I believe your story related to alot of us in so many different ways. I comend you for all the work you do for all teh armed forces troops here and abroad. You may not wear a uniform but you are one of us in my eyes. Keep going strong and hope to see your show again someday, maybe even on top of a hill somewhere, because I know you’ll be there.
Chris
Bernie
Awesome show, you rock. What a inspirational and well placed message you are doing amazing things – Sola Feda.
Bernie, Can’t say anything else but thank you for taking the time to come see us. Great show…See ya at H-E-B!
GOOD STUFF BERNIE! It was nice to have a change of pace from the regular ol’ power point. By far the best safety briefing I have ever been voluntold to go to. Hope to see you again soon. Thanks for coming!
Bernie.
Thanks so much for the show and your message. We really appreciate you coming out and saving us from another power point brief. Good luck!
That was way….. better than a ‘death by power point’ hour. Thanks for keeping us awake and very entertained. It was well worth the time spent. And a much better medium of information than other things I’ve seen.
Great show and I really appreciate what you do.
Oh yeah, “Come back to SA and we will kill you!”
