I love our Military and I love our Airmen- a group of not just fighter pilots, but so many other units who provide protective services and resources to this country. The EOD, K-9′s, Communication Jammers..the list is long and impressive! I hope everyone enjoyed the shows today!

Capt Parkhill & Staff-Thank you!
My Brother Sean and I!

That was a great show, a lot different than normal briefings we get. Thanks for the laughs!
Bernie,
Wow, awesome show- very funny and I loved the stories too. I actually work for the base’s ADAPT program and I’ve given countless “briefings” to young Airmen on the consequences of alcohol abuse and the importance of responsible drinking in my career.
Usually, the presentations I’ve seen (and some I’ve given, sadly) are treated more like a speech by Mr. Garrison from that show, South Park, “Drinking’s bad, umkay. If you drink, you’re bad, umkay.” I’ll admit it, I’m gonna steal some of your routine for my next mandatory substance abuse brief!
I promise not to tell anyone who wrote “I will kill tonight” in the theater’s bathroom.
Thanks!
-Mark
This show was so funny and it had a great message too. It was a lot different than are normal briefings. Thanks so much for an awsome show. I know ill remember what you had to say when im out at a party.
I am glad I went to see your performance because it was simply amazing! We need more briefings like this! Thank you for all the laughs, enjoy MacDill AFB!
Damn, she beat me to it somehow on being the first. Great show, hope to see it again sometime.
THAT WAS A GREEAT SHOW! ENTERTAINMENT AND EDUCATION IN THE SAME ROOM IS A GREAT IDEA AND A GOOD WAY TO SEND A MESSAGE. THE STORY ABOUT THOSE 20 GUYS AND THE ONE ABOUT HIS BROTHER HAD ME CHOCKING UP A BIT. I THINK THE NEXT STEP IS TO MAKE A MOVIE. PEOPLE OUT THERE NEED THIS TO KNOW. MAY GOD BLESS THAT MAN.
The show was awsome….i havent laughed that had since i was in high school! it was great and i hope that you will come back.
Thanx for stoppin by MacDill. we enjoyed the show!!
You were very funny and entertaining. I liked the message also. I dont drink or do drugs but I know many people, family and friends, who do. Your performance especially hit home when you mentioned “family” because that is most important to me.I hope you had a great time at Macdill AFB, I am from California though (Riverside County HUA!).

It was so wonderful to finally see your show. Your passion is contagious and your message was perfect. The Airmen at MacDill AFB will benefit so much from your message and I am so thankful for you. Keep doing what you are doing….

Hi, say you at Macdill today and your were so funny, and very inspirational….. I can’t wait to read the book…… Thanks a Million
Wow,
That was a really great time. I love every minute of your show. Really energetic and real down to earth. I am glad to see someone like your self support the troops and also visit schools the way you do. I dont know how to say how much it means to me to see a person have something happen in there life and it makes such a difference to that person, that they can change their life around and use there own personal story to help others. That is something in more or less just one word to me, INSPERATIONAL!
You definatley caught me off gaurd when you called me out in the croud today though.
As much as you work out, you should come do our physical training with us the next time you are here. That will be one hell of a time to say the least.
I will be looking foward to seeing you in the future.
Thank you again.
SrA Austin D. Jones (Panama City, (“welcome to the U.S.”) Fl)
Bernie,
Again…great show boss! I had a blast working with you before and after the performance. You’ve got a great thing here and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Keep up the great work…and if you’re travels bring you back to Tampa, look us up man.
Mike King (a.k.a “thanks Sergeant”)
Very good show today. I was a little upset with having to come in early untill you came out. I haven’t laughed like that in a while. Your message is very powerfull and you are a great man for turning your life around. Thanks for your support of the military!
Big Bern, I’m trying to win the free book. I’m not going to lie. But the show was better than any other don’t abuse the booze meeting. Appreciate it!
Bernie,
Thank you for sharing your inspirational story with us at Macdill. It made the mandatory briefing worth listening to. I love going to comedy shows and your show was one of the best I have ever been to.
I am sure sharing your story has not been easy but it is very effective. The way you delivered your story is very entertaining and effective. I think with your story people see that the consequences of drinking go further than what think.
Keep sharing your message and hopefully no one will every have to go through losing another family member to a drinking incident. Once again thank you for the powerful message.
Bernie,
I have to admit I was a bit annoyed when they said it was mandetory for me to go in my shop (and I’m OVER 25)…but it was an hour well spent. I am one of the lucky ones who can have just one… Unfortuantely, that’s not the majority. Thank you for for your inspirational and empowering story. I hope the ones you have shared this with can pass this along to their peers.
