I liked the performance you are a good comedian and I would like to meet chris rock and adam sandler. but any ways your brother is really tall and you ahve to stand on a chair to be at his height that is wicked.Well the performance made a lot of people laugh and i think tha you made a difference to our school and i hope that it will be a drug and alcohol free.

I am from Greencastle High School and I absolutely loved your performance. I do not do drugs or drink and I am not an athlete. I do play county softball here in Greencastle and I also recieve pretty good grades. When you told your story to my high school I could not help but to listen. Your story really inspired me to work harder and stay out of things like drinking and drugs. I am also the oldest of four children and the story about your brother, Scott, really made me think about how my influence over my brothers and sister can really affect their choices in life. I want to thank you for coming to our school and I hope not only I but many others can follow in your footsteps to stop and think about what is important and what will carry us on in life. So, thank you and God bless.

Hey…thanks for the comment about my car….it really helped me out today…:)….just kidding……but i am proud to say that i have never done drugs….and had one drink (and only one drink)….and your speech helped me stay from the temptation….and trust me i have had the temptations ever since my mom got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis….and raised the stress level in the house….but i have kept on the straight path.
I also looked at your pictures of your brother….he looks like a great guy…someone you talk to for a long time and never get tired of talking to him…..i envy that you have abrother like that to love.

Dude! Your show was great. Best school entertainment I’ve ever seen, and especially considering that our school is cracking down on drug and alcohol abuse problems, your message was relevant and very inspirational. You relate well to students our age; you’ve had personal experience and yes, it’s not like listening to the little 80 year old man with horn-rimmed glasses squeak “Just say no!”

Hey Man! Your show was awesome today! I was seriously prepared to just fall asleep or blow it off as ‘boring,’ but it was amazing! You took time out of your busy schedule to come visit a bunch of random high schoolers, and college kids, in an itty bitty county of Indiana, which we all greatly appreciated. You have gone through many hardships in your life and it just proves to us that we have many things to be thankful for, or that if we have gone through these things that we can make it. We really needed someone or something to lighten us up and make us realize the truth of the matter and that is exactly what you did! You really made an impact on our school today! I got a brief chance to talk to you after your show, but I wanted again to thank you for taking the time to come out and spread your message to all of us. To be honest, when I heard we were having another drug/alcohol convocation I planned on skipping and probably getting something eat (perhaps Dairy Castle)… However at the last moment I decided that it would be a good chance to just hang out with my friends so tagged along. Your stories about Scott and Shawn were extremely powerful, and they were made all the more stronger because of the jokes and your perspective. So congratulations on you’re accomplishments as a speaker, for being sober for 20 years, and for being the sort of man I hope others will perceive me as. Finally, I’d like to say that you were the best convocation that has happened at Greencastle High School in the past 5 years. Thank you for everything and Good luck in your future ventures.

When I heard you were coming to our school and how amazing you were from some of the other students who had already seen your show, I made an extra effort to go. Usually I’m not even in the building at that time but I skipped my Depauw class just to see the show!
