See you tomorrow Lucy!

So I just got home from the show like 15 minutes ago…ok 10. Anyways, the show was great and really got the message across and made you think. Before I came to the show I wasn’t feeling well so I said, alright I’ll just go for the comedy and when the “say no to drinking” thing starts, with the charts and the pictures, we’ll leave. This show was totally not that and I would’ve stayed even longer. Thanks for the laughs and the message.
I thought the show tonight was great. It was very funny, inspiring, and definitely something that we could all relate to. It’s been an hour and a half since the show, and you have still got me thinking about what you said. Thanks a lot for connecting to us on such a realistic level, and doing it in a non-lecturing way. I really enjoyed meeting you and hearing your story!
I enjoyed the show a lot. I thought it was a very creative way of presenting comedy, while also giving an important message. I’m glad I went. – It was well worth the walk over from SOUTH Hall.
See you tomorrow Bernie….. Lucy
Hey Bernie. Thanks for coming out to Wayne State Univ. Your show was funny and inspirational at the same time. I liked how you could be serious and also make jokes about it at the same time. I guess everyone needs to find their happy-sad medium and you have chosen comedy. Thanks a lot I really appreciate it. Take care and God bless.

The show tonight was amazing Bernie. Thank you so much for the kind words, non-stop laughs, and inspiring message. You really have bridged the gap on alcoholic awareness when it comes to relating to college students. Poster boards, graphs, warnings, and disclaimers simply will not work with a college audience. You have to be able to relate, and with your gift of comedy that is exactly what you are doing. The stories about both your brothers really touched me; they were very powerful, yet sincere. I could honestly go on and on about how much I truly enjoyed the show and your sense of humor, but maybe I should save some of this for an e-mail, what do you think? Thanks again Bernie, truthfully, from myself and the Pikes.
The show was great! Very funny and you did an excellent job getting the message across.
Good words last night. I truly enjoyed your show. Good luck in the future and hope to see you again soon.

Hi Bernie, thanks for coming to wayne state!
Thank you for coming to Wayne State University. Sorry I’m reply to your blog so late. I think your message is wonderful something we all need to hear. I personally have never drank or got started. my friends have always convinced me but in my head I said I’m the one who would be the one to suffer the consequence at the end not the people who put peer pressure. I have nearly lost my best friend’s friendship because she started drinking /partying at the end of senior year of high school, because I chose to stay away I got picked on and made fun of. I thought to myself I can always get friends but once I get addicted I will be addicted for a long time. I know everybody reacts differently to alcohol and such.. but I know my body and myself best more than anybody. Anyways I won’t keep much of your time.. Thank you again for coming and entertaining us and giving an important message.
