   I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing your story with Concordia University, St. Paul. I took what you said to heart. I too have stories to tell that have impacted my life forever. My sister was near death because of the drugs and alcohol, but thanks to God I still have her here on this earth to be in my life now. I think your ministry is awesome and very unique. You have quite the talent. I was laughing at all the jokes you were cracking. I love to laugh and I was laughing!!! I will keep in my prayers the student’s hearts that you will be ministering to. I am so proud to hear that you have gone 19 years without drugs and alcohol. I pray that it will be another 19.

   Hey, thanks for the awesome hour tonight, all I remember the guy from last year saying was ‘to drink’ and something about reverse psychology. But I really enjoyed it tonight and it opened my eyes. I always knew that alcohol was a depressant but never really connected it to the times when after a night of partying and fun how I am depressed, even though I spent the past hours with my friends. Your story has really changed my views about the “fun” of drinking. Thanks again

Tonight was beyond amazing and i could not be more thankful that you came to Concordia tonight to impact us with SUCH an amazing – both hilarious and inspirational – show. You have quite the talent and your stories all impacted me so much. I too lost someone to suicide in a drug abuse incident and hearing your story made me realize once again that i’m not going through that alone and it’s still okay to be sad about it and think of our loved ones who are gone. I appreciate you coming, and replying back to emails. I hope we cross paths once again – i am definitely going to keep in touch with your tour dates and successes as you continue to be an amazing comedian! Big hugs and a friendly facebook poke! LOL. I think that you opened the eyes of many and helped all of us to realize that it is ok to deal with problems in your life whether it be drinking or something else before they become something that you CAN’T deal with!

    What up man!? This is the man with the ’86 Olds Cierra! haha It’s funny how old the car is, but yet someone just tried to steal it about 2 weeks ago. What were they thinking? Anyways, I was glad that the show was mandatory because to tell you the truth I otherwise wouldn’t have came, it was great. It was the best live stand up I have ever seen. The message of it all hit home, so keep spreading your word to others, because they too will be grateful to hear it.

    I was one of the “not required” in attendance. Your comedy was great and show- truly inspiring. I enjoyed how you related to us in several ways and almost screamed with laughter at the “How to tick off your roommate comment- just look at her and smile.” As much as your show rocked! I’d suggest less Paris/Brittney jokes only because we hear them everywhere and they’re getting old. I have not been a big partier and must compliment you on actually learning your lessons and speaking out.
