Holy Cow- man did I LOVE the Cougar Athletes tonight! I am serious, when we all got over the fact that we HAD to be there, you men and women were one of my best crowds EVER! I felt one of those solid connections tonight that performers only feel once in a while from time to time. I cannot thank you enough for being such a cool crowd. Your laughter warmed my heart, and staying focused during my message was appreciated equally. To Pippa, Pam, Mr Sterk, PAtrica, Bill, and Milford - Thank you! I will be treking, and TRACKING each of your teams this year, and even plan to return to a game or two! Kick some tail this year Athletes! What a campus, amazing sports facilities, and great coaches and trainers! You COUGS are BIG TIME Division I STUDS & STUDETTES!!! Living the DREAM!!!

BERNIE!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh WOW was not expecting that. You do not know how tired i was and planned on falling asleep, not going to lie i was a little mad because i couldn’t because you were so entertaining and your story was so touching. Hate to admit it but i teared up!!! And our brother sean that is so dear to my heart because because back home in arizona my best friends brother is slow and his name is mike and he is such an inspiration to my life. His attitude for life is so amazing and he just has so much love for life and i totally agree with you how he inspires you to do better with your life. I just wanted to say thanks for reminding me about how much they hit your heart and inspire. And congrats on 19 years that is such a triumph!!!!

I appreciate the laughs you provided us tonight, but most of all the great message you delivered. An interesting and engaging drugs & alcohol presentation is usually an oxymoron, but I think most of us were pleasantly surprised and came away with something from your talk. Your story was really moving and I am inspired by the happy ending.
Bernie, I would just like to congratulate you on how you turned your life around because I know how hard that can be. I’m sorry about the loses in your life but I’m sure everyday you are gaining more then you ever imagined.I greatly respect your work and what you do. I know your message tonight touched alot of the athletes and your presentation on drugs and alcohol was great and I’m just glad I got to see an amazing speaker/comedian like yourself. May your career continue to strive on and touch many more lives!

I really related to the story of your younger brother. I too have a younger brother who is special. He is truly my life blood and direction. You’re awesome man! It was nice talking to you. Thanks for a wonderful and entertaining presentation tonight. I find that topics in general are more interesting where humor is involved. Hey man, your a freiken funny guy, alot of your material I was like, did he just say that? haha. All in all I was expecting the show to put me asleep and wanna die afterwards but it was complete opposite. Good stuff, your story was pretty deep man, you made some really good “hard Hittin” points.

Awesome show. I came in with quite a few reservations after the last few years being absolutely horrible. But, your show was sweet! I really like the unique way you use comedy to get across a serious message. It’s a much better way than having an old guy in a suit stand up there, throw facts at us, and tell us what we’re not supposed to do (just like you said in your set).
Again, great show, keep it goin and enjoy the road.
