Good morning!

Hoping for some helpful information here. My father, Lt. Col Ward Graham (Ret/Dec.) was a U-2 pilot in the 60's and early 70's when I was a youngster. So, many fond memories of childhood from experiences on D-M base housing. We left in 1972 upon dad's retirement and I've not been back since.

I'll get to my point... I'm visiting Tucson the week of September 20-27th with my wife and her parents. We would love to be able to tour the base housing area. (My sister had the privelege of visiting there 4-5 years ago.)

I checked in with the 355th and didn't get much help. Can any of you D-M locals guide me towards some favorable results for possibilities of an escorted tour?

Sincerely,
Dan Graham

Bernie,

It's been really busy for me since you left, so sorry for the late blog. It's been almost a month now and I still hear Airmen around Base quoting your lines like they would a movie. I can't thank you enough for your time and support for our folks and others that serve. I wish you the best and hope you got to spend some quality time with Sean. We need more people like you out there.

Thanks for doing a show here, Bernie! Funniest thing I've heard in months. I laughed so hard. I'm gonna start looking for comedy shows in Tucson--I need to get out of my room more, anyway. Awesome job!

Thanks for the show. It was a couple days ago, but the message is still in my mind. That hit home with me, and I'm sure a bunch of others who were in the audience. Keep it up, it's good!

Very inspirational story, and hilarious to boot. Props man! Come back and see us, sounds like we all enjoyed your safety brief better than the AF regulation.

Thanks Bernie for an amazing message! It was hilarious and not the typical boring "don't do" lecture. Some of your points made me think of people and times in my life when there were problems with addiction. I have seen alcohol abuse first hand in my family, and have thankfully seen them resolved as well. I am sure that your message has touched many and hopefully changed some lives. The military is big on drinking and I think that today you made a difference in some airman who may have a problem. Seeing someone admit that they had a problem is what it may take for someone to realize that they have a problem as well. Thanks again for a hilarious show. Keep it up.
