Hey man! I loved your show tonight. I thought it was going to be a boring lecture for an hour but you were totally worth it. I especially like how you included how even just drinking a few beers each day during the week is a cause for concern. My dad has been that way all of my life. He doesn’t think that a few beers a day can be harmful, no matter what I tell him. I now have a new story to tell him that might have an influence. Yours. Thanks a lot and God Bless.

Hey Bernie i really enjoyed your show alot actually because we have been hearing alot lately about drugs and alcohol but yet in boring ways, you put a twist on it which was so funny and made it feel more like you were coming to us in a friend perspective instead of a great big lecture! thanks for coming out it was hilarious!!!!! Whats good bro! My name is Ryan Short and i am 21 and i think i could really relate to your message tonight. I mean i play baseball here at central and man those stories were exactly like mine! I still go out and have a good time and all and i really do wanna stop drinking cause i dont wanna end up like my dad all being a complete drunk my whole life. Anyways i really appreciate you coming to the big ass town of Fayette! haha i am from Oregon man i know how you felt when you drove into town haha! Hey Bernie, I really loved when you came to talk to us. At the beginning I laughed so hard at all your jokes especially the bathroom jokes! They were hilarious!! but when you got to the drinking and drugs part, you were so so right about it all and I truely wish more people would realize how dangerous they really are. I am a Freshman this year at Central Methodist and all through my high school career, I only went to two parties. I ran cross country, ran track, and played softball and I never had any desire to go out and drink. But the thing that makes me so mad is when people dont think about others who are on the road when they are and they try to drink and drive.
To me, the way you changed your life is a merical from God. He was really watching over you Bernie and he never gave up on you!! I am such a strong Christian and I love when I get to witness mericals from God. He comes in misterious ways.

I loved your show last night! I have not laughed that hard in a while and it felt good to let it all out. We loved having you on campus. You lightened up the atmosphere with your performance. Amazing show… going in everyone was like great some boring guy telling us to not do drugs or drink… however… you were the exact opposite. I about fell out of the pew laughing! Good job! I dont think anyone will ever do a better performance here!

Awesome show Bernie. It was by far the best comedy show I’ve ever seen. You were unlike any drug speaker I’ve ever listened to. You acted like u were a friend just hanging out with us. You didn’t lecture us like everyone else in our life has.

Great way to inform students without pushing it down their throat. It allowed everyone to pay attention to the actual point of the speech.
