   I just wanted to drop in and say great show. You had me and my friends rolling with laughter. But more importantly you showed myself and other students the dangers of alcohol. You also explained how easily things may spiral out of control with alcohol abuse, I think you had a large impact on everyone in the audience last night and I think that is something amazing. I really respect your message and appreciate the means by which you voice that message. I hope the rest of your Happy Hour Comedy Tour goes well. From the student body at NMSU I think it is safe to say you are welcome at NMSU anytime you like.

You are such an inspiration to me and everyone around me after only one show lol. one of the few people who can relay an importmant message without preaching and treating your audience like children. keep doing what your doing cause your saving lives.    I never heard of you before Bernie but I am very surprised about that. Because you were extremely funny. My favorite thing you said was the part about the snooze button because it is so true. I didn’t quite know what was going on at first when you went into your story about your family and how you were in a downward spiral. I was thinking damn there goes the buzz from the laughter. However, your story was very powerful and it just reaffirms my resolve to not drink or use drugs and I am sure that many who heard you rethought about their lives. The best part about it was that while you were talking I felt like it wasn’t a lecture. That there was some brevity in your story with the comedy you were still incorporating. Also don’t let what Elizabeth said get to you.

   I hope everything else goes well for you and thanks for coming to NMSU. By the way I would love a copy of I Killed. (wink wink)
