I had a great time today in the gymnasium at the Z! 400 Juniors and Seniors packed the place at 10am for the show. I love coming back east and seeing all my EAST COAST PEEPS! I just want to say thank you so much for coming to our school today. it really was an inspirational story that you told us today. I know that you definatly got through to some of the people in the gym today, including myself and my friends. it really makes me think twice about my actions and choices, i am not really a drinking teen, but i see it with my friends and i want to be more open and help them make the right choice. I really apriciate your time in coming to visit us, and you really are funny! i was in tears today from laughing so hard.

Hey i really enjoyed the time at gym today at Tappan Zee. You not only gave us laughs but also gave a great message to everyone. I myself never drank smoke and all the other stuff and tried to get others to stop. It is hard to find people who will stand up for what they believe. Not everyone has the courage or even good will but you are a great person for doing this. You truly are. Thanks for coming to our school. I had a great time. I hope that many people took your message into their heart. I even wish all did. Thanks again for being there today.

At first, I thought you were being a little corny and that you were making light of alcoholism and drug abuse because I thought you were just going to crack jokes the entire time, but later on I realized that you seriously cared about these issues.

Hey Bernie my name is Zach Boren and I am a senior at Tappan Zee High School. I thought your show was amazing. You were hilarious. I loved how you just started doing stand up and grabbing our attention, and then easing into your serious life story. The thing I admir most about you is that you made a change, and your real. What happened to you is real, and that gets to kids more than anything else. When real life situations occur it makes people think, and you definately made me think today. I love how you didn’t just tell us to stop drinking and doing drugs, cause honestly with us that usually goes in one ear and out the other. You told us how it is, and no one respects that more then us teenagers. You influenced me today more than any other has, and when you talked about your brother, its touching and brought chills to a lot of people. I am a big comedy fan, and intertwining your routine with your life story is just amazing. I was thinking about it all day today, and I’m glad I got to hear your story. It was nothing less than amazing. 19 years going on 20….nothing less than impressive.
