That was a great show. I loved how you mixed in the inspirational speech with jokes. It was great. I really loved it. You shoudl definitely come back in the future cause every year of students to come should get the same great experience we got this year. Thank you for stopping in the town that its college students make up over half the population. They built a college and we came.

Hey Bearnie, I really enjoyed your performance here in Peru. It’s definetly the most fun and best delivered “alchohol awerness” seminear I’ve ever been to, I definetly didn’t feel preached to, which I think is a key to reaching out to young people. You know what you’re talking about, and you’re really funny and I enjoyed your comedy big time. Keep doing what you’re doing, your effort makes a difference!

I was able to make it to your performance last night. I used to live in Atlanta and comedy is real big down there–and I must say, you gave an award-winning performance. I would have paid good money to see that performance. It wasn’t just the jokes and the message you got across to your audience, but it was also how comfortable you were onstage. It really showed and, personally, I think that really makes or breaks a person (stage presence). You are awesome at what you do so keep up the good work. Oh, and you know what? I was impressed at how you can take such a serious, heartbreaking time in your life and make light of it. It seemed to me that it wasn’t simply to get the message across, but it is a reminder of where you are in life and why you are there. I’m not a drinker, but I got many other messages from your performance. One of the messages was that it’s not easy to deal with hard times, but people are capable of doing it. Please come back to Peru (preferably before I graduate in December 2008). I would love to view your show once again.

Hey Bernie, I loved the show last night. It was well worth going to. I thought you did a nice job especially working the inspirational part into your routine. I know how hard it is to stop alcohol from taking over your life. I turned to alcohol after I suffered a major injury my sophomore year in high school. The injury ruined my plans for the future but the alcohol just about ruined my life. I know how hard it is to stop, and I give you a lot of credit for that. Thanks again for coming to Peru and I hope you keep on doing what you’re doing.

As a student athlete I was required to attend your performance. Normally when you’re told you HAVE to do something you assume you’re going to be counting the minutes until it was over. I loved your performance though. You definitely proved that it’s possible to send out a powerful, positive message in a fun manner. In high school we had lectures and speakers and fliers shoved down our throat. I’ve never been more impressed with a presentation more than I was by your performance. Thanks for stopping in Peru!

Your show was AMAZING! You have been the best thing to hit Peru since we got cell phone service my sophomore year. I really took a lot from your message and how you presented yourself. It is sometimes hard to enlighten or excite the PSC Bobcats and you made that happen with your comedy and message. Also, thanks for drawing the names from that huge plastic slack for me. I think you left a lasting impression on this campus and especially with me. Have a great tour, and I hope you decide to come back to Peru State College in the future.
