was my first journey to Cochise, a mining capitol for COPPER in AZ! The college is 2 1/2 hours from Tucson and about 15 minutes from the Mexico border. Rhonda, Cathy, Martha, and Jennifer were so good to me. What a great group of administrators and staff! Some of the baseball players came out, which was cool, and even a few people from the community. Ed the Security guard stayed, and the students were dynamite. You have to love a college where the students do NOT know the name of the dorm they live in!!!
Rhonda had this amazing gift basket for me, and I cannot wait to try that coffee! Rhonday, Jenn and Yvette then took me to the legendery Copper Queen Hotel and Restaurant for an amazing dinner. Jenn and Yvette were quite the pair of sisters! WOW! (wink)! Rhonda shared stories about how ‘creative’ she has been in her past! (shhhhh!) I loved the experience in Douglas/Bisbee, and would even consider mayquesting that journey again in the future! I will pack bottled water and flares! Thanks Apache! thanks for the laughs and the love…… Bernie

hi there bernie, first off thanks for coming to cochise college and sharing your message. i like your approach to delivering this ver important message, it put me at ease instead of trying to cram it down my throat. my high school showed one of those movies with the images of bloody car crashes and the stale british guy in a cardigan. my older sister who is three years older than me did the brunt of the experimenting in her youth. although she never told me the hard way i learned every time i went to pick her up at 2 in the morning. again thank you so very much for your performance tonight and im sure you reached many more people than myself.
thank you one more time

Dear Bernie,
Hey first off I would like to apolgize that I showed up late, I didn’t plan on it I had to do a online test, and the professor scheduled it at that time of your show. Thats why I walked in late but to be honest it worked out perfect, you went right away and made fun of my broken finger, and even the baseball players got involved. I enjoyed your comedy and your inspirational story about your family, and your life. Your comedy was very enjoyable because it was from the heart and based on true events maybe that is why I laughed so much. It was a great evening for being stuck here is this boring town of douglas… wait a minute Im not even in town Im 8 miles outside of town what a drag!
Thank you again,
Daniel Hawk
Dear Bernie,
I was at your show, the girl in the back with her boyfriend. I am a high school senior taking dual enrollment classes so the high school drinking story hit me hard. I have never been the type to go partying and getting wasted at the club but I have done it at a friends house or wherever. I realize that drinking wherever is still gonna get you trouble. I messed up my freshman and sophomore year by ditching and drinking with my older sister. The message that you give out and your story are both amazing but not unusual. So thank you for sharing that with us.

Yo Bernie!
Thank you SO MUCH for the presentation you did for us at Cochise College. I can tell you that those who didn’t get to see you really missed out! I hope that we can have you back next year!
I am happy to see that our college is represented by some great students, and that they are sharing here as well as in school! Thanks Guys!
Please plan to come back, share more with us, and to make time to check out Cochise County!
Hello there, just stopping by to let you know I enjoyed your presentation. Hours before I had heard someone say not another motivational speaker, I thought to my self I should go who cares what they think. I am glad I attended. What you said about friends that they are only with you when it is all fun and games, then they when things go baad they dissappear like they don’t even know who you are. I will now think twice about drinking and driving. Thanks again for coming and sharing this with us. Bye
Hey Bernie!
I want to thank you for coming to Cochise to speak to our student body. I’m sorry that not too many people showed, but what little did really enjoyed your presentation. From the comments written above, your words have reached some students and next time you come you’ll reach a whole lot more. Thank you again for taking the time to share so much of yourself with us.
Jen
Hi Bernie!
Thanks again for your visit to Cochise College. I just want to let you know you’re awesome!! You are REALLY funny! Bernie, I went to your show with my intention to teach my 14 year old (freshman in high school) and 12 year old about substance abuse, and it’s consequences. Instead I came out thinking about my older brother who is now 49 years old and has been an alcoholic since he was in high school. It’s been in the back of my mind for a looong time to tell him how I feel, but never had the guts to do so. After your show I knew that the time is NOW to speak with him and let him know how much I love him and make him realize the harm he is doing to himself. There’s more to life than just partying all the time. Anyhow, thank you for sharing your life story with us, and teaching my kids about making smart choices in life. Keep up your good work! Looking forward to seeing you again next year! Next time I’ll bring my bro to your show!
Martha
Keep up the great work!
