The Ladies of Wells are so unique and special. A 130 year old school that just last year decided to allow a few lucky men to attend! HAs me thinking about returning to class! The crowd was a bunch of fun mocktail sipping students who beared the freezing temperatures of Sommer Center to have a few laughs and a few things to ponder about life! Here is the shot taken with Dimitri; camera- thanks Dimitri! I hope I get to meet you all again soon. Leave a comment below if you so wish! Love hearing from you! Kelly, Crystal, Paul, Marilyn and the entire W.A.S.T.E.D. Committee! Wells Active Students Teaching Effective Decision-Making Rock on! ps Thanks Gabe!

Love Bernie

Your show was really outstanding and inspirational. It had me thinking of a friend of mine who was drank that we helped. Thanks for the wonderful show, hope to see you again next year.
Berne, your show was the first live show I have ever seen and I know I will remember it. You really got us involved and we all loved every minute of it. You sent us a message, but ddn’t forget we all wanted to laugh, too, it is just really great that you could do that for us.
Hey Bernie. Hope you’re doing well. The show was awesomely funny. There’s so much I can’t even remember it was that good. Laughter is, to use an overly hackneyed phrase, indeed the best medicine, and you performance was just the prescription to make a Friday night great. Keep up the good work man. As a non-drug/alcohol user, I do not know how a person from that perspective would view your show, but I thought it was a heartfelt, powerful performance. Your work touches lives. Keep it up, and say hi to Sean for all of us at Wells.
Sincerely,
~Gabe Cleveland

Rock on.
Hey Bernie, loved the show. It was funny at yet really informative. Im happy that you are where you are now, and that you choose to use your experience to help warn and infrom others. You are beyond outstanding and marvalous, I fell in love with you tonight..lol!! Really great job!! Above all the motivation speakers, other speakers and performance Ive seen here at Wells, you were by far the best and the one I will remember the most. Say Hi to Sean for me, he seems wonderful, I know you must be happy to have him as a brother!! Love you both!!
Love you much,
~Sasha Hamilton
At first, I wasn’t planning on going to the show until my roomate asked me to. I have made it my decision not to use alcohal or drugs so I didn’t see where it would relate to me. Well, You were extremely funny, which made the show worthwhile to begin with. But then, there was a place in the show where I could relate and that was with the relationship you have with your brother. I too have a younger brother who will forever be a child. He didn’t have enough oxygen during birth and he has Asperger’s disorder which is a higher functioning autism. He is 14 right now but still loves batman, superman, spiderman, basically every super hero, pokeman, and he absolutely loves to play video games. I sometimes find it hard to be the sister I need to be for him. I know that once we are older, he will depend on me and I need to be there for him the way that you are there for your brother. Thank-you for being truly inspirational in that aspect of your life. I only hope to develop as strong a relationship with my brother as you have with yours. Beth

P.S.
Give your brother a huge hug from all of us!

Hi Bernie,
Just wanted to say thank you for visiting Wells, you definitely changed some peoples decisions about drinking last night and as a non drinker by choice I am happy that you could do that for people. Alcoholism runs in my family so I wouldn’t risk it. Keep up the alcohol free years and say hi to Sean. Hope to see you again here at Wells in the hope that you can change more lives.
Best wishes.
Sierra
Hi Bernie,
I just wanted to say I really enjoyed your show last night, especially the part about your siblings. I have 5 siblings, your story made me think of my brothers and sisters and smile. Thanks again on behalf of WASTED and just keep doing what your doing, it is really awesome.
Have a great week,
Dalace
Hi Bernie!
Your speech at Wells was wonderful! Your message really got through, I have no desire to use alcohol while partying anymore! Thank you for making such a sad topic funny!
I hope you will come back to Wells soon!
