I just love hitting the lake up north. Seeing Jen and all the mentors warms my heart! The freshman this year were amazing! It felt so good for me to go off the material a little, and just add lib with everyone! We had some great laughs. Monique- Andy, what is up? How was the dance tonight? For the men being three to one underdogs, I am sure GREAT!!! LOL I know you were shaking your groove things out there. The women were probably squaring off claiming their territories!! Keep the focus up there, and do not let the ‘there is nothing to do’ excuse get the best of you. There are great new friends to be made, and when you have great friends, you can Denny’s a good time! And THAT is not that easy to do! Photo coming tomorrow- come back and check! peace. love Bernie

Bernie,
You warm my heart! Thank you for such a wonderful comment in your blog and tonight during your show. Your actually one of my heros…inspirations. You motivate me to see that each day I make a difference and that helping these students learn responsible decision making towards alcohol and drugs is very important and that I can make a difference. So, thank you for helping me to realize my potential…part of my purpose in life…and for making Keuka College a better place. And, thank you so much for a great friendship…even though your on the west coast and we only see each other once or twice a year, I do cherish it!
Love and admiration,
Jen
PS: I will send you the picture tomorrow. I’m just too tired to download it right now.
Dear Jen-
I know in my heart of hearts, that the students at Kueka will come to know the gift they have in you! The upperclass knows already, but this great new group will see your hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and genuine sincerity, in wanting them to achieve all their dreams and goals! I know had I had someone like you to turn to in college, I may just have taken the road ‘less’ traveled, and saved myself much heart-ache and loss. Remember, being of service to others, is the greatest gift, you could ever give to yourself. Love you Jen.

I thoroughly enjoyed your performance and message last night. It was very encouraging for me to hear some intelligent humor wrapped around such an important topic! Thanks for doing what you do.

Stephanie- Ahhhh the word ‘intelligent’! You are so cool. Thanks for the post! I had such a good time, and I hope the message, was a neat way to get it out there. I beats the old fashioned one hour lectures I had to sit through. have a great time up there. Love Bernie
Bernie,
Thanks you SO much for coming to Keuka the other night. I know that all my little freshmen mentees walked out of your show affected in some way, and I think that everything you said was amazing. You are an amazing performer with a great message, and I can’t wait to see you again next time you come around. Until then, good luck and God Bless!!!
-Brian
Bernie,
The performance was so amazing, and it really felt so good to laugh! Your an amazing performer and individual. Good luck with all of your shows and look forward to next year seeing you at here at Keuka.
-Matt
Hey Bernie,
I really had a great time when you came here to visit us at Keuka. You had me laughing so hard a few times that tears were welling up in my eyes. Your jokes were hilarious (my new friends and i talked about the backwards g-string last night at dinner!) and your message was even better. Its a sad story, but for you to turn around and share it with others is very inspiring. You’re such a strong individual.
I was one of those few who proudly held up their hands that I dont drink. Never even tried it, never care to. Thats my plan, i’ll let you know how it goes.
Hope to see you again in the future sometime,
Darla
